My visit to the dentist

What a crappy day!  It's cold!  Windy!  And I had to go to the dentist to get two teeth filled!  Ack!  I've been good.  I brush and floss twice a day.  I can't imagine what would happen if I didn't!  so, I was a few minutes early.  Had enuf time to read an article in PC magazine about how to protect my computer from everything from viruses to spam to god knows what else.  Then, the dental tech called my name.  Yikes!  She took me into a room waaaay in the back.  Prolly where they do the most torture.  It's so far away from the waiting room, they can't hear the screams.  I was put in the "rack", and told "he'll be with you in a minute".  Nervous?  Nah, not me.  Not until I saw him!

ooooooooo!  I spent an hour and 15 minutes in that chair.  And now I am as good as new, especially my mouth!  Course, the whole right side of my face is numb.  I have forgotten how to talk.  It all sounds like da da ba.....  or something like that.  Eating supper is out of the question.  I might bite my tongue!  A friend of mine did that once.  Oh man, it was ugly.  I think I'll pass.  And, the "good" news is that the tooth he did the major work on will need a crown before long.  What?  Charge me over $500 for something that is likely temporary????  Oh man, this is a crappy day.
