This is a PITA

It's been 3 days since I got a letter requesting I call for an appt for a "call-back" mammogram.  I went to the phone immediately the 1st day and tried, but they are booked up (even for call-backs) until August.  Ack!  I waited 6 months for my routine exam!  So, they tried to get me with the supervisor to see if we could overbook.  Not there.  Ok, I'll call back tomorrow.  It seems she is out until Monday.  They said they were sorry, called me honey and sweetie, and all that crap, but there was nothing they could do.  So, in the meantime, I waited 6 months to find out I have a suspicious area, they don't even tell me which breast or anything, then, i may have to wait another month or two to have my call-back.  All the while, I could have some evil lurking in my body.  I feel very evil today!  And I have to wait another 2 days to try to contact this person, who WILL overbook me in the very near future.   And, to top it off, I have not told anyone but y'all about this, including hubby.  So, everybody thinks I am just cranky and in a bad mood cuz it is so FREAKING HOT outside!!!!!!  Oh yeh, I just got back from the gym and some shopping.  The heat is hot, the humidity is BLAH! and I have wilted down to a spot on the floor.  But, at least I went to the gym and lifted and treadmilled.  Good stuff.  I do a lot of thinking on the treadmill.  Ha!  That's where I got all riled up about this whole thing.  I am not a very patient person.  I will call her Monday......
