Random thoughts before, during and after the gym

Oh yeh, Saturday morning workout and too much time to think.  So, what today?

Before:  I got my chores assignment just as I was going out the door.  Nuf said about that.

During:  I found my knuckles were getting white again on the treadmill.  I gotta stop doing that!  But I am having anxiety about who knows what....  It is something I live with, cuz that's who I am.  When I am feeling "anxious", and that can be good or bad stress, either way, I feel it physically.  You know, butterflies in the stomach?  And things of that nature.  Well, my knuckles were white, I had that "clutching" feeling in my stomach, and, well, you get the idea.  Why?  Dunno.  Crazy.  Perhaps it is my road trip.  Perhaps it is what will happen during or after.  We shall see.

As I was leaving, I heard my name.  Huh?  I turned around and one of my ex-coworkers from what seems like another life was standing there smiling at me.  Nice.  We caught up on all the news and gossip and talked for just a little while.  She looks great!  Retirement suits her.  Me next.....  In my dreams!

After:  I went to Panera to get a bagel for lunch.  I luv that place!  All the students have their laptops, doing school work or whatever.  They seem to take over most of the seating area.  It's ok.  I just plunge in.  I like the young people.

Most important of all:  I went on an underwear run!  That's what we called it when the kids were little.  You practically have to take a loan out at the bank to get anything at all!  Good thing I carry plastic.  So, my friend just had her "girls" resized and found out she now wears a D cup.  Wow!  That might explain why they keep escaping from their entrapments!  So, I did the same.  No, I won't tell, but it was actually a pleasant surprize.  I splurged on some lace, a little plunge, and bikini instead of practical.  It was fun!

So, I made a decided effort not to rant today, altho I could very easily have done so.  I am not mad at you, just the situation.  Know what I mean, jelly bean?
