Time to take a breath

Whew!  Things have settled down just a bit for me.  I still have a few boxes to unpack, and I promised the man I would work on them today.  I also start my new job Monday.  Well, orientation, anyways.  Then I will start my new adventure, another chapter in my life workwise, prolly Wednesday after to house orientation stuff is done.  Since I have worn scrubs for so long, I will likely have to buy some clothes.  I don't think this position warrants any kind of uniform, except maybe a white coat.  Blah.  No white coat.  But, shopping!  Yay!  I have anything from huge outlet malls to Walmart to choose from here.  Of course, the outlet malls sorta win for me.  I could get lost in them allll day. 

I promised pics of my road trip, but I really didn't take very many.  The man took most of them and I haven't downloaded them into my computer yet.  So, here are just a few...

This is Michigan at the memorial service for my two sisters that died recently.  The little boy, my great nephew Sagan, is assisting the priest by holding the holy water.  Great job, Sagan!  Oh, yeh, his mother had to take a lot of teasing cuz Sagan's father is Jewish.  Holy Water?????  oops.

My grandson, the graduate.  Note his feet.  Very hot day and he couldn't wait to strip down.  Got the pic, tho.  This is back in NC.

These pics don't tell the whole story, but it was a great trip!  Two of the days we drove almost 12 hours to get to our destination.  Other days, much shorter.  Great way to start a new part of my life, spending 24/7 with my man for 2 weeks.  mmmmmmmmm
