Visit from a Clannie

Yesterday I went to Cary and scooped up my friend Dave and brought him home to the chaos that is my house. It was quiet at first, but soon the kids and daughter arrived. It was sooooo nice to have a crowd around the table for supper, all chattering up a storm and eating everything in sight. I come from a big family and I miss that kind of interaction, sometimes. It is usually just me and hubby......and sometimes the kids. And soon they will be in school so they won't be coming any more.. It will be too doggone quiet! Ahh, I digress.

Dave and I clicked immediately. I want to adopt him! And his wife, Shannon, of course. We hung out all day, doing not much of anything but talking. Then we played some paper Magic after supper. Hmmmm, I'm not very good at that. Soooo, we grabbed our laptops and headed upstairs to "the cave" and got online for MTGO. We played one multi game which was a gas cuz my partner was literally sitting right beside me advising me on how to play out my hand. And, of course, we played off each other's hands and won the game! LOL! Soooo nice!
