What's in a Title, Anyways.....

I get tired of trying to think up cutesy titles for my blogs......  So there!

So, I went to my little conference in Charlotte last weekend.  Oops!  Forgot to go to the lectures.....  LOL  We knew I wasn't going to.  Instead I enjoyed Charlotte with my friend.  Had a great time!  It's nice to get away from family responsibilities once in a while.  I did dumb stuff like having a banana split for lunch, or instead of lunch, whatever.......   Drank a bit of wine.  oooooooo  You know I'm a cheap date.  Doesn't take much.  Did some dancing, which I haven't done in YEARS!!!!!!  Fun and silly at the same time.  Mostly, we just hung out and enjoyed being together.  She is a very good friend, and I will miss her a lot when she moves to Cleveland very soon.  But, her new job takes her a lot of places!  Chicago, Boston, and I forget where else.  She has already invited me to go with her to Boston, but, unfortunately, I am busy that week.  Too bad.

Now, I had a good time in Charlotte, but have had one illness after another ever since I got back.  Currently, I have a swollen lymph node in my neck that feels like tonsilitis.  I do still have tonsils, so it could be.  I don't feel sick, just uncomfortable.  Yeh, I never get really sick, just sorta.....  Ack!  Just rambling again.....  Story of my life....
