He works as a letter carrier for the post office. Seen the news lately? The post office is in BIG trouble, and it is trickling down to the employees. I changed jobs so that I could be home more and enjoy my new life. Ack! Nothing ever works quite the way you think it will. Now, my man is working 6 days/week, 10-12 hours a day. WTF???? I am calling myself a post office widow. And considering going postal!!! He gets home just in time to grab a bite to eat, chill for a little while, then off to bed to do it all over again. What kind of life is work, sleep, work, sleep, work, sleep?? I know, I know, there are people that don't have jobs or enough money to get by. Sooooo, let the post office hire some of them so we can share the wealth! I'm game for that! Not gonna happen, tho. At this pace, I give most of the workers (here, anyways) about another couple of months and they will all be dropping like flies. Including my man.
I have to add the "woe is me" part of this. We used to share everything, chores, meals, enjoyment, etc. Now, that is mostly gone for lack of time. I have all the chores. Eat my meals alone. Pout a lot. Blah.
That is all.
