Shared on Wed, 01/17/2007 - 13:17WooHoo! I weighed in at the gym today, lost 3 lbs. I like to think of it as losing 5 lbs of fat and gaining 2 lbs of muscle. Muscle definition is definitely coming back and I feel great! I am now doing 15 reps each on, i dunno, maybe 15-16 weight machines. The abs are starting to get easier. The jeans aren't so tight!!!! oooooooo
I do have a little problem, tho. Wednesday morning has a rehab period at about the same time I go to work out. So, the guy pushing the walker was there, and hit on me yet again! Doesn't he know that earphones mean "don't bother me"? I'm so easy to find, tho, since I am probably the only one in the entire gym, not staff, that is under 70 and under 200 lbs. Well, it's ok. It's still better than Saturday when the swim aerobics class is held. ooooooooo, old ladies in bathing suits that are, um, a trifle overweight. I give them credit for trying, but how the heck did the get there in the first place? I panic if I gain more than 3 or 4 lbs., let alone a hundred, or more.
So, working out is going well. I still have about 3 weeks of "endurance training", then I can get into heavier weights, back to where I was before I became a slacker.
