Fallout 3 is still a great game, but the gliches are annoying. Freezing up and having to remove the disc AND shut the console down on occaision is annoying. Lockpick skills set to 75, but when I get to a certain door that I can't access because my skill level isn't at 75 (or so the top left of the screen sez),,,,that's annoying. Brought level up to 100 and it says "99". Walking in certain areas and "getting stuck" in rocks, trees or a waterway. Explosions on screen causing controller to flip out and sometimes the game never comes out of VATS. After all is said and done playing a game for 71 hours (currently at level 20) is amazing.

DawnFades, You are correct. I freely admit to being not the sharpest knife in the drawer. When you show your limbs on the Pip Boy 5000 I didn't know you could heal each individualy AND you must specifically ask the doctor to heal what you're addicted to. "I think I'm addicted to something". H2Daddy, When moving the Bobbypin and turning the lock clockwise slightly if you get tension, go 180 degrees in the opposite direction with the pin. Very Easy locks? Just force them because they're always 100%.

While there are a sizable number of bugs the problem you're having with your lock pick skill rating is probably due to something you are wearing or you have radiation sickness Certain outfits will give you downgraded skills. Likewise radiation sickness gives you stat downgrades. Hope that helps out a bit.

I love this game. I am only level 12. Not sure how many hours I have in but I am liking it. I have my locke pick set to about 50 and I can't even pick an easy lock. I keep breaking the bobby pins. What is the secret? I have only got one lock open the entire game. Haven't had much problem with the game. I think it has froze 2 times on me.
