Here's the deal. Even though I hear the controls suck I still want Killzone 2. Small problem being that I don't have a PS3.

"Maybe it's time to buy one" , I exclaim to myself. Small problem #2: I ain't paying 400 bucks for the console. Wether it's worth it not worth could be worth it....I don't care. I'm not plunking down that much plus atleast 2 games ($100.00) ya figure. My wife complains (while I'm killing the Locust Horde) that I take up too much time on the living rm TV so I figure, "What the hell?!" You know I'm not buying another 360 and I feel my wife's indignation has caused me to tread down this road.

I was in the same boat as you just a couple weeks ago. The controls don't suck but they have a bit of a learning curve, because of the lack of triggers (IMO). Dell frequently runs a 20% off promotion which has been a huge hit here on the site, myself included. The current coupon Z0WPL1J0CC3W47 is set to expire tomorrow so if you're not going to do it immediately you may find another deal soon. Just tell your wife you're buying a BluRay player to watch movies with her. ;-)

I've occasionally felt like buying a PS3, but then I snap back to reality and see that I've got enough awesome games, and plenty of decent games, and more than my fair share of other crap to do in my spare time. $400 plus other additions to have a PS3 that will mostly collect dust when not running an exclusive? Nah, I'll live. I think you will too.
