...is there a lawyer on this site, preferably one that specializes in family law (bonus if in Illinois) but any will do, that I can ask some questions of?


I really hate to ask this, but I am at wit's end and need some help.  I can't afford a lawyer and my exwife knows this.  I've tried pro-bono before and the judges have no patience for you when you go that route.

Try searching the net for an advocate group. I used to have a few that got lost my old hard drive- just search for Father's Advocate on Google. You'll need advice from someone who know the law in your state. There is help out there, mine is all Cali-centric, sorry.\r \r Good Luck, keep the faith.

I've tried something like that in the past and they said they don't handle family court issues. Unless you're talking about something different. I'll look into it further, thanks.
