Blast from the past

Does anyone remember the song Music Box Dancer?  It was a big hit in the late 70s.  Had it cross my mind yesterday and dug it up.

I think its fair to say a lot of people around here grew up in the 70s.  If I get a chance over the weekend I'm going to dig up some other 70s classics that I know we all listened to on our transistor radios under our pillows at night.  :)

I caught Transformers in IMAX last month. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.\r \r And Michael Bay definitely knows how to blow stuff up real good!

Don't overthink it. Just walk in with the assumption that you're going to have a beer and catch up. You'll figure out the right level of sharing based on what feels right.

I agree with TDrag27. Just go, catch up and have fun. If you two don't \"Click\" anymore at least you tried, if you do you'll have one more \"Long term\" friend you can hang with when the dreaded \"Adult Life\" permits.

I didn't remember it by the title; but once I listened to it, I remembered. \r \r I don't remember it being played on the stations I listened to on my transistor radio.

You were listening to the wrong stations then lol. And I was referring to some other songs that have been bouncing around in my head from time to time, I've actually found several of them on youtube. I'll put those up later.

While I didn't grow up in the 70's, I love and appreciate the music from that time. :)

One of the stations I listened to gave out a D.R.E.A.D card. \r \r Detroit Rockers Engaged in the Abolition of Disco.\r \r This song might have made me lose that card. :)\r

I remember hearing this song from the ice cream trucks that rooled around the neighborhood back in the day. It was not until later I heard it done by James Last that I learned more about it.

Its really a great song, isn't it? Very simplistic, very catchy and very tranquil.
