Their 15th studio album released last August, The Final Frontier actually debuted at #4 in the US and #1 in like 2 dozen other countries around the world. Personally I really enjoy the album, its unlike anything they've done before yet it completely sounds like them. There's a lot of music on the disc, 10 tracks totaling 76 minutes of tunes.
When we saw them back in July they were on the first leg of the tour supporting the new album, but since it hadn't released yet they only did one song. Unfortunately once they came out for the second leg of the tour playing 5 songs from the new album they only did 2 US dates, both in Florida. However of the 16 songs we saw them do most of them were off the last 3 albums, including a handful I'd never seen them do live before so that was a treat considering I've seen them almost a dozen times now. Here's a video of El Dorado (the one new song they played) from the show I saw them at back in July:

They also had Dream Theater opening which was spectacular. Thats one more group I can cross off the list. Maiden's had some high profile openers over the years; I've seen Ronnie James Dio, Motorhead, Rob Halford and Queensryche open for them in addition to some mid level acts.
Here's a couple tracks from their latest album along with an accompanying video of the live performance from the tour:
When the Wild Wind Blows (based on an animated movie from the 80s, its pretty cool check it out here)

Satellite 15....The Final Frontier
Title track from the album, there's actually 2 parts to the song. The first is an odd piece that live is played over the PA as the intro to the show, however its not in the video for the song. The video for the studio version is just the last half of the song, The Final Frontier. And of course its Maiden, so the video is a bit on the cheesy side. :)
