Happy Friday

Was talking with my old boss who was fired back in November.  He was talking with his old boss who had also been fired (see a trend?) and his old boss has a manager position where he's working that he wants my old boss to fill.  Long story short, my old boss told me that if he gets in he was told he could build his staff any way he chose and that he was told there was a supervisor who needed to be replaced, so thats where I come in.  Sounds nice, and I know this guy is true to his word if this is possible.  Not going to count on it cause you never know, but at least its one more thing floating around out there.  And to be honest even if I had another job in the meantime I'd leave it to work for this guy again, I have that much respect for him.

Still waiting to hear back from the repair place.  I'm hoping to get the set back today so I can pop it on craigslist and get rid of it.  I scouted that site out and people are looking for a lot of money for lesser lets, so I anticipate this one will sell quickly.

Also had the landlord's wife stop by with a new lease today, and for the first time in 4 years they raised my rent.  It was only a $15 increase so I have no qualms there, I think its fair especially considering its my first-ever rent hike here.

I'm in a really good mood today, so lets continue with the novelty videos.  I'm working out themes I want to use each weekday for videos and I think Fridays are good for fun stuff.  Since the rotation is official now, lets kick it off with a couple from the king of novelty, one Mr Weird Al Yankovic.  Here's a couple of my favorites:

For what its worth I went with the live version of Santa since that has the alternate lyrics where Santa gets popped instead of jailed.  :)
