Gaming and Life Update

*Long sigh* Well, the update. As far as gaming, I got two more achievements in Lego Pirates today; I got Gents Take A Walk, and I got You're Off the Edge of the Map. I'm now working on the At Worlds End ones, trying to finish up the compass items and the ship bottles.

As far as life, well, the house mate is still stressing us out. She has definitely decided to move to this rent free place of her brother's ex-wife's and stayed there again tonight because there's going to be a plumber there tomorrow. She's also getting her car fixed tomorrow - she said the guy she's going to take it to saw it today, but didn't have a time slot long enough to totally fix it so that's what tomorrow's for. Today though, he said its the fan belt that has a hole in it and keeps getting caught on the gears so if its not fixed soon the fan will basically burn itself out. I told her that they should have fixed that before she came out, they were supposed to have replaced ALL the belts when her dad took her car in before she moved out here.

Anyway, that's part of what's going on with her, and aside from that, her ex is still being an asshole. He knows her parents don't like her son's dad, because her mom thinks he's odd, well, this guy is causing MAJOR problems. He's all buddy-buddy with her folks aparently, and told them about the website that she and her son's dad talk on. Now they REALLY don't like him, thinking that this site depicts his regular life style. Her son's dad is the best relationship she's EVER had, and her folks who at the present time - supposedly until she's settle here with a place and a job - have custody of her kid whose 11. They are telling her if she gets back together with her son's dad, she won't ever see her kid again.

She's split from the kid's dad because he'd said that he hadn't wanted kids when she found out she was pregnant and didn't tell him until her son was 2 weeks old when he called to find out what had happened to her. Now, because she's burned him, they're taking things slow, but he's been to see his son several times over the years, and I think it would be good for her and her son if they were together as a family.

Other than that, my dog, Charlie has an ear infection - or two - and really stinks up the house because of it, and I have to call the vet tomorrow...

Back on the roommate status, I told her today what I expect of her if she is back here after the rent free place is leased out and told her that if she moves out again after that, we'll rent the room to my cousin. He's pretty cool with things and has his shit together better than she does. The only thing is he still smokes, so the room will smell the same as it does now... unless I can get him using some incense of some kind. But, anyhow, that's all that's gone on today other than going to visit the inlaws for a while.

Charlie has a mild infection in his ears, the vet gave me a wash and some antibiotic to put in his ears once a day. He hates it, LOL.

Is the ear infection a yeast infection by chance? My old setter had one but it got so bad we could not clear it up. If it is, you need to keep it dry and get the dog to a local vet. Gold Bond powder may work to keep it dry. Check with your local vet.

Not sure, all I know is that the groomer didn't touch his ears this time because they said it looked and smelled like an ear infection. He rubs his head on the carpet and furniture as well, and I learned that is why he stinks so bad so fast. I've tried using cotton balls in his ears when I bathe him at home, and he just shakes them out, but I try my best not to get water in his ears. He has an appointment with the vet again tomorrow at three, so I'll find out more then and keep you guys posted.
