Is it time to end the friendship?

Okay, I'm posting this here because this has been on my mind all night since my friend yelled at me, saying I was going behind her back when I texted her kid's dad to tell him I needed to talk to both of them this weekend when we're down there to meet him. I posted a poll on Soda Head with a short explanation of what's been going on.

With any luck, it may help me sort this mess out.

She called today after I got home from another friends house - this friend was helping me unwind from the drama. She said that the place she's being caretaker of - the free rent place - was offered to her for $900/mo. + half utilities. I said it sounded like a good deal considering its a 3 bedroom 3bath on 15 acres. I think from what she's told me she has enough income to swing it and it will give her a place for her kid to have his own space. Hopefully she'll go for it and not be here again save to visit once in a GREAT while. LOL I don't mind the company, just the drama.

I have had to cut people off over the years. Such a decision never came lightly and fallout is unavoidable. It seems this situation is clearly bothering you given the number of your blogs about it.

I was going to post on your last blog but I didn't want to seem forward. You need to live as drama-free life as you can, you don't need this person causing drama in your life. I'm sure your husband is THRILLED with the amount of emotional attention you pay to this leech. Cut off all contact and pay more attention to your family.
