It sucks that I can only get max 4 kills per match, so it's going to take me a while. Anyone got any strategy tips...I'm fed up! Maybe I shouldn't be...it's just a game. But see I've got this personal problem where I don't like NOT being good at something.
I play drums and a lot of my friends and family say that I'm awesome, but all I see is room for improvement (I frankly think I'm not that good). Same goes with the stupid video games...if I don't do as well as I want or think I should, I just get p.o.'d.
But one thing is for sure...I'LL NEVER GIVE UP!!!
Thanks to Tank for offering to play some with me to help get some of the MP achievements on Gears and some other games. We haven't hooked up yet, but with his gamerscore, clearly he's got skillz!
On some lighter news, we're finally planning on getting our basement finished. It's not a very big basement, but just finishing it will add some "extra" space and add some value to the home. We're trying to get the Owens Corning basement finishing system. It's a bit expensive, but I think in the long run it will be worth it. The only thing left in the deal is to run the appraisal on our home. The bank wouldn't accept our appraisal from 2 years ago, so they have to do their own. We're just trying to wait, but rather impatiently. If we get it, you can ignore the pics of my 360 setup in the Gallery, because it will change. The plan is to put a 37" HDTV in the basement, which would be a small but cool upgrade from the 32" I'm using now. In addition, this finishing system will be practically soundproof, so playing drums won't be so annoying to the rest of the fam! If we don't get the Owens Corning system, I think we're going to move forward with the plan and have an "entertainment system" in the basement, even if the basement remains unfinished. So, we'll say...maybe someday soon I'll have new pics of my 360 setup on the Gallery.
