Shared on Sun, 02/17/2008 - 21:21I was very doubtful about the new Knight Rider when I first heard it was making a comeback (of course, it's new for the younger generations). I thought it would be lame. I saw the report that Val Kilmer took the voiceover duties for KITT...would he be that good? Would the car be as cool as the original was when we were kids?? Who knows?
Well, now that I've seen the first 45 minutes of the 2-hour premiere movie...it's actually not that bad. The technological advances they reference, the special effects, the very nice (no, awesome!!) Ford Mustang...I think I might be sold...
This might end up on the list of other TV shows making an awesome "comeback", which include:
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (though it's based on a movie series that some argue was worn out)
Battlestar Galactica (Sci-Fi)
Let's see how Knight Rider fits in later...
