I really have nothing to say...I just wanted a new blog entry...just kidding.

Is it just me, or are the $60 games coming out way faster than one can keep up with financially?? I wonder if the price for a new game is ever going to come down. I mean, I would like to get Lost Planet and Rainbow Six:Vegas (especially the latter), but I just don't have $120 to plop down on 2 new games at a moments notice.

My solution...RENT or BUY USED! I rented NCAA Football 07 twice and got nearly half the achievements in 2 weeks. Now, I could just buy a used copy from Gamestop and finish it off.

Anyone else with me on this?

If you only can buy one of the aforementioned games, get Vegas. The multiplayer alone has had me hooked since it launched. The single player game is fun, though your team-mate AI is suspect at times. I rented Lost Planet, I don't like it at all. The controls are wonky and the single player game is repetitive. Kill a bunch of bugs/humans, get to a boss fight, kill the boss, move on. It's pretty, but that's about it
