The Future of NES

Another Gift giving season in almost here and the "so called", experts are saying that Nes won't have a very happy one. I know I put them down on a regular basis but I've owned more NES systems that any other brand. I do fault them for being slow and giving up on hardcore gamers like ourselves. For example, When Sega had the Dreamcast and Sony had the PS1 and Neo Geo was taking Japan by storm, NES offered up the 64. While still one of my favorite systems of all-time, it wasn't on disc and took a beating. No disc system from them until Sony had a stranglehold on the market. Now that  Sony and Microsoft have HD systems, the good people offer up the Wii which has the same def. as the Cube. Their system is also know to have a stockpile of  more crappy games than any other system. If they are to surrvive I think they will have to crack the HD and hardcore gamers market very soon to have any chance at all. A lesson on supply and demand wouldn't hurt either.
