NEVER SPEAK TOO SOON

  I mentioned eariler about having our Christmas Shopping done. At least we did until today!  One place we ordered some clothes from kindly lets us know today that our order will be shipped, JANUARY 20 2009! the SAME order we paid express shipping for! Pop, my Father in law drops by with a catalouge to show us what he wants for Christmas. he already told us something a month ago that we ordered that day for him. Guess who has to track it down and arrange for it to get here? What else? Have I mentioned that were leaving on the 21st for Fla. then on to meet Pop on the farm in Alabama? I checked and the item is catalouge order only. Not that expensive an item but the price of fresh crabcake dinner to get it here in time. I feel like my Mom and Dad are looking down and laughing because they're not having to go through it. We still have nothing wrapped, still have some bills to pay, pack, and service the car, all by Sunday morning. I thought of this venture as a holiday. Instead it looks like a "do not disturb" sign and a long winter nap. Poor health sucks because you have to pace yourself but any day on this "side" of the ground is still a god day. Peace out
