TEMPTATION

The midnight launch for GOW2 is almost here!!! I keep telling myself when I go on the sites that I'm just looking. I CALL BULLSHIT! This is just something I tell myself to justify going there to begin with. Thank God my wife's a gamer also so she kinda understands. The difference between us, (besides the plumbing thing), is that if she stays away from stores she will resist. Me, I have the internet pathway worn slick, not to mention keeping the card companies busy. We talk a great game about not buying as many games and we have gotten better about waiting for the price to come down or going used but this time of year when all the cool games come out.....................HELP! I quit smoking because of my ticker problems but this gaming thing is something else. You get the game and the guide and you've ripped a hundred dollar bill a new one. Who's idea was it to price the guide at nearly half the cost of the game anyhow? Who told them we were hooked enough to pay for it? If only they could see this site and read of the money we all spend, that alone shoud be enough for a discount just because of who we are, the true lovers of the gaming industry! Then again, it's still CHEAPER than for us to go for dinner and a movie. It's not crack. Okay I'll come clean. While I was on the site, I ordered Fallout 3, Tomb Raider and Left 4 Dead! The Wife? She got a bigger hard drive and a 4000 point card. No discount given. Lead me not into temptation because I already know the way myself! Peace out.
