What I'd give to breathe cleary this morning.

Thank God the sun rises every morning...

Yesterday, I woke up with deep body pains that were accompanied by a very clogged nose. It was now obvious that I was sick with whatever my wife had the day before. I had two options: stay home and bask in the warm glow of the 360 or go to the office and get a little writing done. Guess which one I took?

Driving into the office was a blast while loopy on cold medication. I think I actually halicuinated Rex Grossman got the Bears into the Super Bowl. Well, I got to the office where I have an A/C duct almost directly above my desk that blows its dust and God knows what at me. I immediately regretted the decision to come in, but I really enjoy coming to work as its almost like being in a fraternity.

Upon arriving at home, I am supposed to take my dogs out for their evening walkies, but didn't because I felt bad. I ended up letting them out in our fenced in back yard to do their business, but after 15 minutes it was oddly quiet. I walked around in the yard to find that the fence door wasn't locked and they had ran away. It shouldn't come as a shock to say that I was freaked out by this turn of events.

I should preface why I was scared of the dogs running away. Last May, my family left our Pomeranian, Fluffy, with friends as we took a two-week vacation to Brazil. At the end of that trip, we purchased our min pin, Bruiser (I picked the name). When we finally got back to Miami, I learned that my friend thought it was an awesome idea to leave her front door open for Fluffy to run outside and find the major roadway that was just behind her house. So we had one pup instead of the two, which killed all of us to no end. Now that Bru and Pixie Dust the Pug (not the name I picked) had walked away, all I could think of is what transpired the year before.

Luckily, they are social dogs and Bruiser's bark is distinct because we found them just a few houses down from our's, giving a pair of Cocker Spaniel's the business. Those damn dogs were so happy to see us, but not as happy as we were.

Today, I've called in to work from home, but will more than likely be sleeping or trying to do some housework (I'm not a bright man). Now if you'll excuse me. I've got a pair of puppies to walk now.

Thanks for listening...Have a good day, all!!!
