It's been a week or so since my last post.  I'm going to follow-up on a couple items:

1) Bionicle Heroes:  The game was pretty, and you do spend a lot of time collecting Legos.  Of course, you do that in Lego Star Wars, too.  It is probably the same graphics engine.  The Lego games are missing one key part of their license, and that is the construction of Legos!  I can't wait until a game lets you collect pieces and build them into soldiers, robots, houses, weapons, and even vehicles.  For example, if you were exploring the solar system, a "spaceship" could require a console, a hatch, wings (for atmospheric planetary landings) and two seats.  Also, it could require you use all black-and-white Legos!  If you get all hidden gold and silver cannisters, and get gold medals on all three bonus levels (bonus level 3 is really difficult, too), you will complete the game with 100%.  Even when you get the 50% off store item early-on, you will collect more than 5 million Legos by the end of the game.

2) Elebits (Wii, Dustbin Diving).  I'm not sure I even like this game.  Finding the Elebits is fun, but the timed-task nature of the game is just plain wrong.  The animated cut-scenes are beautiful, though.  Also, I'm noticing vertical line artifacts on this game as well as Happy Feet.  Is my Wii graphics processor on the blink?

3) Guitar Hero Encore 80's (PS2).  If you like GH, you'll like this.  It's a lot heavier-hitting than I thought, too.  Don't let the feathered-hair bands fool you, it's tough.  I started on Hard difficulty because I'd blow through Medium.  This is an Encore of GH2 software, though, so there is an encore song in each stage.  This one lacks the extras of the main GH titles.   You're stuck with earning money for guitars, finishes, and the Grim Reaper.  Practice mode and bass tracks are also in the game.
