I Guess "Nuke Buggy" Was Too 70s

I tried, and subsequently bought Heavy Weapons on Xbox Live Arcade.  Reviews of games with good demos, like this one, are sort of unnecessary, since they all end with "try before you buy."  Though, this one is definitely worth a try.  I first want to say that the Survival Mode in demo doesn't get half as crazy as the actual game, since it stops at 4 minutes.  The object is shoot everything except the supply 'copter.  That's it.

I thought a better thing to do, instead of a review, is to mention the two games over the last *cough* thirty *cough* years.  The first is Astrosmash for the Intellivision.  Even though your moving left to right, the game doesn't play like it.  In fact, the scrolling aspect is just "decoration" for the game.  It makes you feel like your going somewhere with its mile-marker signs.  The second is the arcade game "Silkworm."  In that, you played as either jeep or helicopter to destroy the onslaught of enemies.  Playing as the jeep was the closest experience, except it had mines and it could "jump."  Well, chalk one up to Moon Patrol.
