It IS Pretty, But....

Odin Sphere.  The so-called last great game for the PS2.  What's funny is that I just play them on the PS3 and it doesn't matter!  But anyway, there are some reasons I don't quite like the game, so far.  It has great animation and an artistic style.  The music is excellent.  The first chapter for the Valkyrie is made up of a bunch of identical levels with only a few types of creatures.  I thought the final boss was pretty good in level one.

Then I basically started back at the castle where I started.  I'm a little worried that the repetitive nature is going to continue.  If anyone reading this has encouraging words to continue, let me know.  I really love the little girl reading the legendary stories.  She can pick up the cat the way a child does.  I also forgot to mention the chapter presentation, too.
