The do this by either giving us a "Wow" environment, like Katamari Damacy, or a "Wow" event like the takeover by an evil overlord. Wii's Legend of Zelda does neither. I think they're testing my resolve to play this game. Let me give you a sample of the first things you do (day 1 and 2):
- Find Epona
- Ride Epona
- Go to village--where everything is closed, BTW
- Herd goats. No, really. Herd goats.
- Jump the fence w/Epona and go home.
- Go to sleep.
- Wake up.
- Try to ride Epona and this annoying kid won't let you.
- Go back to village--where everything is still closed
- You need a slingshot, but the owner wants her cat.
- That damned cat can't be caught, so it looks like I'll need a fishing pole but they won't give me the fishing pole and I can't knock down the beehive without the slingshot.
So, in other words, it is so mundane, it is boring. You also don't need to have the motion features of the controllers, they just sort of added that. I'm sure the game will get better, but damn!
