Restarted my GameFly subscription. Yea, I missed it. Hard to gather up enthusiasm to finish games in your collection that you're 'Ho-Hum' about, while chomping at the bit to play other games you know are just awesome.

Already got in my first rental yesterday: PORTAL2. Next up in my GF que: Rage, Deus Ex, Dark Souls, Batman Arkham City, LotR:War in the North, Goldeneye Reloaded...for this and the following month. I think now that I can get some good variety in my gaming diet, I'll be more accepting of BF3 and MW3 when they release. Halo Anniversary is looking and sounding gorgeous, btw.

Having played the Orange Box Portal + XBLA Portal: Still Alive, playing Portal2 is bringing a smile to my face. Especially how GLaDOS is insulting me all along the way through these puzzles. Half Life, Left4Dead, Portal...thanks to VALVE and making games I love to play. Got myself a nifty Avatar t-shirt an hour or two into the game, for completing level 10 in 70 seconds. Goes well with the Garden Gnome accessory from Left4Dead2 :) I can thank in part my XIM3 for help with the Portal2 achievement; the Smart Translator is working great. I doubt anyone on my FL has or want to play Portal2 still in coop mode, but I'd like to do that as well.

Just downloaded the large update to Gran Turismo 5 - "Spec 2". Sometime soon (probably after I finish the Portal2 campaign) I'll plug in the Logitech GT5 wheel and give her a spin. Been a while since I played it. I see there's a new car - Nissan GT-R (Skyline ftw) N24 Schulze Motor Sports edition; ahh, they named my favorite car after me. Also great to see the game now has official support for the Logitech PC G25/27 racing wheels...psst, take a hint Microsoft - your official wheels suck. My original ff wheel no longer has force feedback, being one of the original defective units. And that new nonwheel wheel you're pimping? Gtfo here with that. No racing enthusiast wants to play with that cheap junk, just as they don't want to play Forza4 by holding an imaginary wheel in front of them with Kinect.

Anyone wanting to play the above games I mentioned in the near future, drop me a FR on XBL.

GT = MR SCHULTZ.

Thanks.
