As of this post they are 44-17 at home in the Windy City, and 26-30 on the road. What is the explanation for such an extreme difference in the Home and Away records you may ask?
This year also marks our Presidential election, and it just so happens that a blowhard that has been involved in Chicago politics is running for the lands highest office. It's not coincidental that all the hot WINDY air he is blowing this year is carrying balls out of Wrigley at a swirling pace. Obama's windy comments have helped propel the Cubs to first place and could possibly carry them all the way to the World Series, much to the distaste of this life-long Cardinals fan.
