Shared on Wed, 06/04/2008 - 12:20It's not over yet!
The media and everyone is rushing to declare obama the DNC candidate. obama is only the winner IF you count the "superdelegates" who have pledged to vote for him. Neither obama nor hillary has enough elected delegates from the popular vote to hit the 2118 to seal the nomination. obama has 1750 and hillary has 1624.5.
You may have not heard that hillary still hasn't conceded yet. Why? She could still swing superdelegates to vote for her, considering she won the overall popular vote in the actual primaries and caucuses. The superdelegates are free to change their support as often as they want to until they have to place their vote in August at the DNC.
The democratic media is scared to death that hillary will drag this out until the DNC and rip apart the democratic party, the MEDIA's party. Can't have that happening!
(you may have noticed that I didn't capitalize obama, or hillary, I wouldn't capitalize mccain either. These 3 clowns have not earned the right in my writing to deserve having their names capitalized)
