Most people when they see political discussions, writings or shows  they just pass right on over to something more interesting.  Who was that that won American Idol again?  That's more interesting.  These are the same people that gripe about gas and food prices, whine about losing free speech, complain about being taxed out the wazoo, and they wonder how this all has happened.  These people are more than likely the same ones that were taught in school that America is evil for dropping the atomic bombs on Japan, we're evil for removing a tyrant dictator in Saddam Hussein who has been shown to have had ties to Al-Qaeda, and I could go on and on spewing liberal marxist drivel that our schools are teaching these days.  There are still some teachers that hold true to America and teach what needs to be taught, what we, the older generation was taught...to love our country, put your hand over your heart during the National Anthem and when you say the Pledge of Allegiance.  We wore American flags on our basketball jerseys to show we had the troops on our minds, we had American flags sewn in to our baseball caps.  We are proud of our country and didn't just find ourselves just now being proud of our country because a liberal marxist democrat who just so happens to be black and michelle's husband is now running for the highest office in our country.

I don't have nudey pictures posted up here, I don't have the latest game reviews or hottest new gossip in hollywood.  Nope, I got just good old plain common sense and unrelenting patriotic love for my country and the freedoms that have I've been blessed with because of our founding fathers and all the men and women who have fought and died protecting it, and are still fighting and dying to protect our way of life.  From the bottom of my heart thank you to all our servicemen and servicewomen!

I'm absolutely sick to death of democrats and republicans.  I don't give a rip about the party, I care about what the man who wants to lead this country believes in.  The whole party system needs to go away.  Vote for the platform and the man, not his party.    Black, white, green, orange, purple, red, color does not matter to me at all, what matters is what they believe in and what they are trying to push off on me.

Honestly, barack osama and mclame have no idea what it's like to live like one of us average joes.  They've been silver spoon fed most of their adult lives and have had life easy.  When was the last time they had to pull over and pay $70 for gasoline out of their own pocket while filling it up themselves?  These schmucks have no grip on what our lives are like.  Until we get a person that will stand for their beliefs, their platform, that has lived like an average joe and understands us, we, the working class will always be left out in the cold.  As the old adage goes, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.  Both of these 2 knuckleheads will see that they even the playing field and bring everyone to a classless society where we all get the same things while the fat cats at the top decide what's best for us.

You dopes that would rather watch American Idol, read Entertainment weekly, or look at nudey pictures better get your heads out of the sand before it's to late.  Not to long from now you'll wake up and your country will be gone and we'll be the United Socialists of America.   How would you like not being able to read Entertainment weekly any longer because it inspires hostility and jealousy?  American Idol, can't have that, that puts one person above the collective community.  Nudey pictures, well, you can kiss them goodbye..........How would you like that?

This isn't the hen running around yelling the sky is falling, people, whether you want to believe it or not, the sky is falling.  It's falling right down on what's left of our freedoms trying to choke them out.

Did I say that you start out running for president? No…sure as hell didn’t and sadly this is the excuse that most armchair politicians make when whining about the elected representatives of our country. You see, just like in any other career…you do not start out as the CEO of a multibillion dollar company. You work your way up from a lower position. If you want to sit in the white house someday, then you can start in your local elections and work your way up from mayor to governor to congressman/woman etc etc. You begin in your local area and make a reputation for yourself (if you’re honest and hardworking it’s not that hard to do) and the fundraising will be there, and as Barack Obama has shown, lobbyists are not required. People will walk through the fires of hell for a man/woman that they believe will make a difference in their lives. You speak also of swaying the delegates to cast their vote for you in a presidential election and that they would never vote for a “Average Joe”. Are you completely insane? If a true blue collar man stepped forward who did not do drugs, screw his interns and or steal money hand over fist, the public would force the hands of the delegates. Contrary to popular belief, there is not a circle of overweight old white guys puffing cigars deciding the fate of our elections. The delegates vote with the will of the people, regardless of the “Sky is falling” theorists who claim otherwise. You say that an “Average Joe” could never become president of the United States of America? Sounds familiar…..like when they said a Catholic could never become president of the United States…..or no one would vote for a cripple…..or a French diplomat….or a Hollywood actor…..

Azure- I think you have a bit of the "sky is falling" type syndrome. An "Average Joe" will never become president because by the time a person has had enough experience in the national spotlight within the political arena to run for President, that person is by default no longer considered by the public to be an "Average Joe". Therefore, as Peep and others have said, it is quite literally impossible for an "Average Joe" to ever become President. And as for calling SeaCat an armchair politician, how do you know he isn't in a political office?

Great write up Sea! It's kinda hard for me to vote for one of the the two fat cat wealthy jamokes who are running for Presidency because, as you stated, they are outta touch with us pee-ons! And yes, the people of America are distracted, and sadly more interested, in watching the shit that is on T.V. these days! Nothing is going to change unless everyone starts paying a little more attention to reality, the REAL REALITY, not the shit they pass as that on the 'ol boob tube these days! To quote my late father, (who happens to be a Vietnam Vet, God rest his soul) "Love your country, question your Government, it's your God given right! And stand up when they fuck up and tell them that they are! Never settle for mediocrity!"

uh...what I am about to say is not an endorsement of McCain, but I just wanted to point out that you praised people that served in the military and then threw one that served under the bus by stating he has had it easy in his life. Not sure if you were aware of his past: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain

I live about a mile from where your blog banner took place.I thought it was cool that you used that painting.Nice one! However,it would take hours to point out all the inaccuracies in your blog.If your disgusted with both of them, fine, stay home on election day.I was a McCain supporter back in 2000,(shook his hand, got my copy of"Faith of My Fathers"signed)but he's changed so much trying to appeal to the mouth breathing trailer park evangelicals that I barely recognize him.He had real balls back when he told the VC to fuck themselves,I think GWB keeps them in a little jar somewhere.

Deman, please point out the inaccuracies, would love to discuss them or find the wrong items that exist. McCain served with honor and I thank him for that, however he does not stand for whats best in keeping America's freedoms protected. Peep, I know bro, who do we vote for? They are both knuckleheads. I love the negative ratings, time to tick some people off and wake some people up!

I’m sorry Sea Cat I am not attempting to attack you personally, but you’re talking out of your ass. If you are so patriotic and know what's best for our country. Put your money where your mouth is and stand up and be counted. If you don't like the candidates that represent your town, city, state or the country as a whole, then it is your duty to run yourself. Otherwise your nothing more than another conspiracy theorist spouting the same ole' rhetoric we've been inundated with since the dawn of politics itself. You speak the “Dopes” who sit back and watch “American Idol” etc, yet what have you done to change the political outlook of our country? Other than post opinions and trite on an obscure web blog, all the while casting your judgments on all those who do not blindly follow your conservative viewpoint? Who are you to preach at people about their lack of political involvement when you have absolutely no idea how involved they are. In this your most recent debacle, you once again refer to Barack Obama as Barack Osama. A feeble and massively offensive attempt to call the man a Muslim in hopes to inspire fear in the wake of America’s fear of Muslim extremists. Even though it’s widely known that the guy is a Christian. You talk about ignorance of the issues and yet you blatantly display your lack of knowledge of the candidates and their positions time and time again. As for attacking John McCain while claiming to love our troops and owing so much to those who fought for your freedoms? Hypocritical much? The man was a POW for 5 and a half years, again I say who the hell are you to judge anyone, let alone a man who not only was injured in the line of duty but also volunteered for duties most wouldn’t have the balls for. The man was awarded the Silver Star and yet you cast doubt upon whether or not he earned the right to run for office? Neither of these men were born with silver spoons stuck anywhere. They earned everything that they have today. They, also unrelentingly patriotic also have done something that you sir have not. They took the step forward into public office and have led their lives for their country while under a microscope. Until you have the testicular fortitude to do the same, perhaps you should keep your insults to yourself.

Yes any American Born citizen over the age of 35 can run for president. That is if he or she has a shit load of money, and can convince Either of the two parties that they have their best financial considerations in consideration. The presidential election has become a joke in the sense that whomever has the most money, and can get the backing of corporate America, wins! Average Joe doesn't have a snowballs chance in Hell in EVER getting nominated, let alone elected. So, Testicular fortitude, as Azure so kindly put it, doesn't really mean jack shit when it comes to presidential elections! It's how deep are your pockets, and how can he or she make our company a SHIT load of money. That sways the delegates a little more than Blue-Collar Peep over their!
