Brain Drain..WWFSD..

Well i am at work tonight and finally, not by myself. For the past two days i have worked alone. Which isn't too bad...you have more free time when you split the duties with another....lol about 4 hours as opposed to 2. I am in a pretty good mood at the moment, looking forward to watching the second season of Carnivale. We finished the first one right before I had to get ready tonight, so i am itching for the second one already. We trade it in at Movie Trading comapny and usually there is no out of pocket money involved. So I will go down there in the morning when they open and pick it up. My husband and I are watching several seasons, the bad part is that we are pretty much caught up to current with most of them and have to wait for the new seasons to be released. i hate waiting. I am not a real patient person. I am more of an "instant gratification" kind of gal. We have watched and I would recommend:

Battlestar Galactica- Starbuck is hot!

CSI LasVegas

Criminal Minds

Bones-i am trying to get him into this one....

Carnivale- I picked this one out and he wasn't real sure he would like it, but I must say that it sucked us in pretty quickly. The characters are 'unique" and the story line is supernatural. highly recommend it for those who like the darker side of life. it is a drama, not nearly as 'edge of your seat" thrills like Alias or 24, but worth the investment.

And the list of ones that he rufuses to watch with me is much longer...LOL. But we enjoy it and it gives us someting to do together. I like watching them on dvds because i couldn't wait a week for the next episode..especially for shows like 24. Too intense for that. I like being able to watch 3 episodes at once if I so desire. I like the power of the remote control...skip to the next episode with the push of a button.

its 12:32 and I am sitting here already bored. Wonder what is on TV tonight. I watched Secrets of the Ya Ya SisterHood a couple of nights ago, and before that Chucky 2..lol Cheesy horror movies are greatness. they have their place on the big movie screen. Redheaded dolls chasing you with knives, trying to procreate with other dolls...I mean I didn't think that they were atomically (??) correct.. The script was hilarious and at the same time makes you close your kids rooms at night..the perfect marriage of horror & stupidity....well off to see what I missed in the clam forums today....
