Taking Charge

Well I am sitting here about to wake my daughter up so she can get ready for school.  She has her easter egg hunt today.  I have the next two days off and I am going to go to a temp agency "Spherion".  The have a ton of job postings for customer service paying 12.00-14.00 dollars and hour.  I can't continue to work graveyard anymore.  I never see my family, and Matt and I fight a lot.  My house is a fucking pig stye and I know that running a household in itself is a full time job.  My kids didn't even have clean clothes until I washed some yesterday.  Dishes are pilled up in the sink, because Matt will not hand wash them and we are out of dishwasher soap.  It stinks and I just can't bear it anymore.  My neighbor gave me some advice, her husband works nights and stays home with the kids everyday...she told me that if I was going to keep my sanity, I had to lower my standards.  I tried.  I just couldn't lower them that much.  I know that he is tired of being here at home all day long.  He's not like me.  I would gladly stay home if we could afford it.  He is going bat crazy.  He has to find a job.  So I am going to dedicate my time to taking back control of my household and finding him a job.  For those who do not know, he has a seizure disorder that prevents him from driving. So it is my responsibility to take him to look, then to take him back and forth to work once he finds one. So wish me luck on finding a day job with decent hours and please please let him find a job, any job to get him out of house before we end up killing eachother or getting a divorce....I am taking charge of the situation and I am taking my household back.
