There's no place like home...

well here it is easter weekend and we have traveled 2.5 hours to see my mom in Olany, Texas.  It is about 40 minutes on the other side of Jacksboro.  It has been a nice visit.  I have been getting a lot of hits off my posted resume and have about 3 interviwes lined up for next week.  These are for jobs that I have at least 6+ years experience in.  It doesn't pay as well as if I had a college degree but about as ell as I am going to get without one.  they range from 12.00-1350 an hour. So I am excited.  I know there are no guarentees but at least it is a solid start.  Our daughter went on a weekend camping trip to the mountains and is getting to stay on a log cabin.  She was so excited.  Because Colby didn't get to go, we wanted him to be able to do something special too so we decided to take a little drive to the boondocks and visit my parents.  He is having a blast.  Its early and no one else is awake so I thought I would blog.  Its nice and quiet out here and you can hear the birds sing..alot different than back home.  However, we tried our hand at living in the country for a while and it just doesn't suit us.  LOL.  So it is a nice place to visit but I sure don't want to live here.  We played trival pursuit last night and the guys let mom and I consult eachother on questions, so that it would be more fair...lol.  She ended up winning the game! I got paid on Friday so I was able to pay the rent for this month, but it took almost everything we had.  But at least it is paid, right?  We have a roof over our heads for at least another 30 days.  LOL.  Our electric bill went down over a hundred dollars since I refused to even turn it on at all, 223.00..so now our next obsticle is getting that paid,  But I am sure that something will ome up.  I always figure stuff out, even when it gets down to the wire.  I am pretty amazing like that.  :)  Anyway just felt like writing a bit and getting some stuff off my chest.....happy easter everyone!!!
