All of my parts for my new machine should be at my house tomorrow....but my copy of Vista won't. WTF NewEgg...you could have told me before hand that Vista ships from a separate location and wouldn't be shipped at the same time. I think I'll try to cancel that part of the order and just go pick up a copy at Best Buy or something....


ONLY 4 MORE DAYS UNTIL THE TF2 BETA!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!

I like Vista. Previews of service pack one say there will be a huge performance increase. Every time a new Windows comes out it is the same thing. You really shouldn't get it until the service pack is released. Everyone complains about how much more resources the new version takes up. I know people that swore by 98 when XP came out because XP was a system hog.

Try www.mwave.com - I've used them before when building my rigs and are pretty much on the same playing field as the egg...

Vista? Vista?! Why cripple such a sweet rig with a dog of an os? Especially if your only putting 2gb ram in it. Might as well stay on xp...

@NotStyro Gotta upgrade *sometime*...besides all of the performance reports show only about a 3% decline in overall performance...nothing I'll lose sleep over. another 2GB of ram will be ordered though....

I hear ya. I am trying to figure out a new pc build for me & a nephew. I had hoped Apple would release an MP with a blu-ray burner, but nope. Gotta build a new windows xp box for me & vista (ugh!) for the kid. Let us know how the new rig runs.
