Shared on Mon, 02/19/2007 - 20:55I certainly didn't get as much code done during the weekend as I would have liked but I think I made up for it today. The code for the font editor as well as the library to render it is complete. I've even gone so far as to cook up a 10 page PDF document on how to use the tools. I need to get my old website up and running so that I can have a place to post my work and have it be easily accessible.

What's Next?
First I'd like to get my old website up and running. I need to get some source control system in place, a public download section, and some forums to support any public releases. After that it's back to GUI coding.
WoW-Free Week
I decided on my ride back home Sunday afternoon that I was going to make this week a World of Warcrack free week. That game is a freaking time sink. Part of my problem is that i don't have too much else to play due to my aging system (see the next section). The other aspect is that I really think I've had some good ideas come and go over the last year but I never get too far into them without 'taking a break' to play WoW, which turns in to the entire weekend being blown away. Sure, WoW probably isn't the only reason for those failures, but I'll just use that as my scapegoat de jour.
New Rig
I've been contemplating upgrading my PC for quite a while now. After downloading the Supreme Commander demo and being deeply depressed because I could not run it I have bumped up the seriousness a few notches. A Core 2 Duo system with a GeForce 7600 series gfx card is looking like the target for now. I also need to retire my 21" CRT. It still works like the day I bought it, but I'd like to reclaim some desk space back and go LCD :)
