Tonight during our alpha test the engine has a really "awesome" flaw whereby if an object is spawned from within another object you're teleported to the edge of the world. After avoiding that ugly scenario StragglerJ and I crashed when trying to load a new level. I've cooked up a lot of scripts to get this far but I really don't like how unstable TGB is (probably because I'm using it for something it wasn't intended for).
So, I guess it's back to the drawing board. I need to try and come up with a single-player game idea now that meets the following requirements:
Minimal artwork (I'm a developer, not a graphic artist)
No multiplayer
Minimal AI (I'm doing all this in a scripting language....)
I guess this cuts me down to a puzzle game, card game, or some type of arcade-like game...
so frustrated....
