Two-System Multiplayer!

That's right ladies & gents....I finally got GalX running on two systems.

My laptop (on the left) is running as both a server and a client. My desktop is connecting to my laptop as a client. As I was hoping, there is absolutely no lag, collision detection works perfectly and the basic "user experience" on both systems is identical. I can actually fly one client by looking at the other client's screen it's so in sync. Obvisouly all this goes out the window once you stop playing on a LAN and go over the clogged tubes of the interweb.

I've got a huge laundry list of bugs & features to implement. I'm not really tacking them in any particular order though. Aside from the "two client" work that I've just tested I'm working on the "scores" screen that is shown when you hit the tab-key. This lists all of the players, their kills/deaths and current ping. For the rest of tonight though I think I'm going to iron out some more networking features.

Ditto! I can't wait for the first "real" network trial over the web. Many late nights of coding are going to have to take place before I'm there though :)
