Setup was cake. Not that it's terribly important for techno-types but for the nubs of the world that's probably nice.
Creating my Mii was surprisingly fun. I think my wife had more fun doing that than playing some of the Wii Sports games.
Wii Sports
Bowling was amazingly fun.
Boxing....*panting* yeah, boxing was fun...<wipes sweat off of brow..>
Baseball - I think I threw out my arm trying to hit home runs....seriously.
Tennis - I need more controllers for this game. Single player was fun too
Golf - I thought the controller was a tad too sensitive. Coming from someone who actually plays golf it was kind of frustrating to have to half-swing all the time.
I did my 'fitness age' test and I ended up with a baseline age of 37. Not sure if that's good or bad, but I definitely want to get to 20! I need to snag the component cables and some more controllers so that we can get 3 players going (my little brother is living with us at the moment).
Wii Browser
Well, the web browser *worked* but the text was almost unreadable. I, of course, went to 2o2p to see if I could read my own blog and it was blurry at best.
Virtual Console
I browsed the library and the content looks good. I'm still not sure if I can choke down paying $5 for a NES game that I once owned though.....my son will probably dig it though...
Kid Tested, Mother Approved
Well, it hasn't been kid tested yet. Tonight we'll see how my little buddy can handle the Wiimote. I'm a little hesitant to let him swing that sucker around but I'll let him take a few stabs at it. Even if he just gets relegated to virtual console games for the time being I think he'll be happy. This morning all he was talking about was playing it tonight when we got home...I can't wait :)
Random Picture of the Day (Yes, this was cooked up by yours truly...)
Click on the link for the unscaled - no shitty version....Damn you DSmooth and your blog conformity B.S. !!!
