Musician Mass Confusion

So I have been playing the drums since I was 18, that's 15 years now.  I have been in 3 (now 4) bands over those years.  I have been a metal head since the 80's.  All of my bands have been Death Metal, for those of you who dont know what that is, your probably not going to like it!!!!   Its a love or hate style of music.  My 1st band, out of High School, me and 4 buddies from school formed a power metal band and called it "Plodding Misery", we lasted for 2 years, didnt really do much, just played localy, was the #2 best local metal band, put out 2 demo tapes,,,,,ahhh tapes.........anyway, my 2nd band was called "Eternal", which was me, my old guitarist from my 1st band, and a bass player/singer......we lasted for 3 years, did about the same, a little better, put out a professional demo tape, went on a 2 month tour and played in Indianapolis, Des Moines, Milwauke, Chicago, St. Louis, Little Rock, Tulsa, then back home in Springfield Mo. ......still only the # 2 band in town.

  3rd band was called "Tragedy", and my bassist/vocalist was in the #1 band for all those years  lol.....we were together for 3 years, played one weekend a month, put out 2 demo tapes, and finally....my 1st CD.  After that was over, I had a child, took 5 years off from playing, just started back up 1 year and 6 months ago, with my 1st project called "4Skorn'd"...http://www.myspace.com/fourskornd   Nothing serious just guys sitten around playing music, drinking beer, and smokin the occasional herb, we didnt do anything but record our songs, because my old bass player now has a recording studio in his house, and I recorded a 5 song CD for the price of a case of beer,,,lol.......In that time I met these kids ages 21, 22, and 25,  2 guitarists and a singer, they are badd ass guitarist, and so we formed our band and called it "Bullethole",,,,and I was still doing "4Skorn'd" as well.  Our first show for both bands, and the last show for "4Skorn'd" was June 6th of last year...6/6/6...lol    Bullethole took off, and in 4 months, we played 6 shows, recorded a 6 song CD, went through 6 bass players, and kicked one of the guitarists out 2wise.  So  about 3 months ago, our latest bass player, who was actually a guitar player, came back, and replaced our kicked out guitarist, they decided to start a new.....drop all of our old songs......9 of them,  and change the name, it has been going ok, off and on, of the new 6 songs, I like 3 of them, and they are starting to be controll freaks, wanting to write my drums for me, fills and all, and.......well in the course of writting this long drawn out sonuvabitch, my singer came over, and we had a long talk, and were offically......lack of better term......as Ross from friends said to Rachel......were on a break!!!!!   I'm gonna let them figure out what they want to do,,,,,,I have a couple of other options to toss around right now, so thats whats gonna happen,
