My wife and I grew up in the area and moved up to CT in '99 for a job opportunity but PA has always been home. With a 4 year old daughter and a baby on the way I started to get the feeling that it was important to get back near family. While a transition like this will be stressful, it will be beneficial for my kids.
So basically the next year of my life will be a stress filled one with the components of: new job + pregnant wife + traveling up to CT on weekends + spending time with 4 year old + putting a house on the market + uncertain job status of wife + finding a home in PA.
My wife and I have been going back and forth and likely will finish out her pregnancy here in CT (she is due Jan 30th) before worrying about selling a house. We are comfortable with her current doctor plus the insurance she carries with her current employer. While things can change this likely will be a course of attack.
Xbox wise I will be staying at my parents until our house is sold and a new one is purchased. Luckily I will be able to hook up at my parents and do some gaming on weeknights after work. Weekends for the most part will consist of me driving to CT and back with a load of work to do.
As for my clans and 2o2p, I will still be an active member but with a new job comes new responsibility and challenges. My daytime participation will likely be limited until I have a good comfort level with the company.
So wish me luck come August 13th when I start a new challenge in my life. Anytime I feel stress start kicking in, I will think of the long term benefit for my kids getting to know family and the area that is "home" to my wife and I.
