Battlefield 1943 is socially dysfunctional. There isn’t a lobby to hang out in between matches, and in game communications are extremely limited. Both limitations made telling sheep jokes to new friends extremely difficult last night. It also made it tough to tell if everyone was getting in and out of the game ok, and whether we needed to be sending invites accordingly. I know we were either maxed out or almost maxed out for a couple of hours. Hopefully everyone who wanted to play got a chance to do so.
I know I was killed extensively by semi-mature people sporting gamer tags I had not gamed with before. It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope I killed you too. Or at least thanks for showing up and letting me try.
Keep your eye on the FoF tag. I know I’ll be playing this game a bunch until the next World at War map pack is released. Some more private matches on a Fri or Sat night would be sweet. Hopefully I’ll see many of you again then.
