Into the Abyss...

That's where this country is headed.


Saw the strangest thing this morning...  We have a lot of squirrels around my building where I work.  They are fairly unafraid of humans, and you can usually walk within 3-4 feet of them before they scurry off.


This morning, on the way into the building, I heard a really odd noise.  So I stop, and look to my right.  There, on the ground, is a squirrel, gnawing on the base plate of one of the lights for the parking lot.  The metal plate.


I just stopped and stared at him for a minute, until he realized he was being watched, and then he turned and looked at me, then took off.  Strange.

I'll tell ya, if the squirrels ever figure out traffic patters, humanity is screwed.

squirrels like aluminum, galvanized metal, and lead... they naw on the lead pipe jacks on house roofs as well... VERMIN! (it's supposed to taste sweet to them)\r \r /random knowledge
