Did You Ever Imagine?

Think back appx. (1) year ago.

Did you ever imagine:

- The Arizona Cardinals would be in the Super Bowl?

- The Tampa Bay Rays would win the AL East?

- Mickey Rourke be seriously considered for an Academy Award for Best Actor?

- Gas would be under $2 a gallon?

- Britney Spears would be (almost) hot again?

- That we would have an African-American President?

There are more I'm sure...  post them in the remarks.

I think 2 of the most surprising things are The Cardinals and the Gas being under $2 bucks.

I wouldn’t have imagined that so many of my friends would be laid off, that my salary would be cut, and that Natty Lt would be a great fucking beer. The Phils winning the WS. Rex Grossman is still a Bear. The number of times I’ve watched that commercial about the pills that make your penis bigger, without actually buying any.

Back in the 80's Rourke was considered a pretty good actor, so I guess I would have to say yes on that one. Everything else....no.

@Snuphy, Iwas not surprised at the Phils. They did win in the 80's. Not like it was THAT long. Talk to a Red Sox fan about having to wait a long time between championships.

@ Jmarps wait a long time???? It was only 3 years

Jmarps... the '80s was a long time ago... Rourke was thrown to the curb awhile back, so I'd still say it's a surprise that he's in the running.

The best one is that Britney is starting to get hot again. I'm really pulling for her.

Did you imagine that an 11 - 5 record would not be good enough to make the NFL playoffs?\r \r Did you imagine that a team could lose its best player and still go 11 - 5?\r \r
