Shared on Fri, 08/24/2007 - 11:23For the first time ever, I made some angel food cupcakes with whipped strawberry cream frosting last night, had one this morning, so good! Although, I made a huge mess with the batter, I put it in the fridge with a snap on lid on my mixing bowl, and it foamed EVERYWHERE. So there was this extremely sticky foamy mess (probably the consistency of melted taffy) all over the place including two shelves in the fridge, my hands, the floor, the counter, and the handle to open the fridge. Rather comical, but annoying to clean because it was so sticky. Mental Note to Myself: Next time no lid on the mixing bowl for angel food cake batter. heh.
