Awareness

Here in Amarillo there are statues of horses in front of buildings & businesses, each one is painted with a different theme. To the south they have cows... Weird. Anyway, there is a painted horse in front of the local Hooters restaurant, the other day I drove by it and there was a huge pink ribbon around its neck, and I just thought it was a little funny that they put a Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon around the Hooters' horse. Then I remembered that every year around this time the city of Amarillo will place huge pink ribbons around most of all the horses, I had forgotten this... but one around the Hooters' horse seems kind of fitting.

Took a couple of days off from work for my birthday and a much needed break. Got a red Nintendo DS Lite for my birthday, and I'm definitely going to buy some more games for it. (Any suggestions?) Such a cool little gadget.

Also finished watching the 3rd season of Grey's Anatomy. I missed half the 3rd season because of work and being out of town, so I had to catch up before this Thursday. We watched all 25 episodes in 4 days, talk about a marathon.
