Here we go

Ok, so for the first blog entry of my new blogging self, i wanna touch on my dream last night.  at least the last dream i remember...i think they say that your dreams only last a few minutes or something, but anywho.  so, of what i can remember, i was on some coast, ankle deep in the ocean.  there was some guy there (don't remember if it was someone i know or what) that managed a sailboat rental company or something along those lines.  anyway, we're standing there, and i realize that i'm going with him on some ocean-spanning voyage on this sailboat, which has a big pink banner on the top with the name of the company.  he's like "the owner (of the company) is letting us use one of his sailboats to do this."  i'm like, ok, fine, but i've only sailed (in real life) once, so i know i don't know much about it, but i go with it anyway.  then the owner shows up and starts pushing the boat into deeper water.  *(let me stop here and explain.  i know ur saying to yourself "sailboats are big, how is he just pushing it, and that fast?" well, turns out that it isn't so much of a sailboat (i mean it's a boat, and it has a sail) but more like a cross between one of those foot-paddle boats and a canoe.  it's small and not very deep at all, with the barest indentions that are supposed to be seats.  don't ask me why i didn't notice this then, but only as i went to get into it) he must have been pushing it pretty fast, cuz i was running along beside him and i remember thinking i know athletes run in shallow water cuz of the resistance, i can really feel the burn. then i start thinking that i've been running and he's been pushing this thing for a long time, like the water should be too deep by now, then we stop.  then i suddenly have this feeling that the owner is gonna take my place, and i get kinda bummed out since it sounded like a good adventure.  then he's like "she's all yours."  so i'm like "cool" and go to get in, and i see the size of the thing* (as detailed above).  i'm like "how can we go across the ocean in this thing?" then it just kinda dissipates at that point.  one of the last things i remember was thinking how easy it would be for a shark or killer whale to mistake us for a seal from below and chomping on us, but not sure if that was a waking thought or part of the dream.

kinda strange, but interesting to think where the mind pulls this info from, and why.  any dream interpretations are welcome, but sometimes i think dreams are just dreams...but then again, i really don't know.  i think i may start putting a lot of my dreams on here, at least the ones i remember, so prepare yourself!
