Can't take him anywhere...

I've blogged before about moments where Dean will say something so wrong in public just to embarrass me...We had another good one this weeked. I get angry at the time, but it's easy to laugh at later when the facial flush of mortification fades.

I had lunch plans with a friend. Good ole-fashioned girl talk was in order. My husband is a total extrovert and hates being left out of anything. So when I told him I had lunch with a friend he asked, "where are we going?" I told him that, "WE are not going anywhere, D and I are going to El Loro." This displeased him so I threw out the "We're just going to talk about our periods and having kids and stuff." It worked, he was out immediately. lol. Big mistake, I soon found out.

Five minutes later. a mutual friend of Dean and I called and wanted to go to lunch. This friend gets along really well with the friend I was going to lunch with. So I gave in and we all went together.

As soon as everyone sits down in the restaurant, Dean looks at my friend and says, "So D, I hear you got your period. That's cool."

I fucking died. D looks at my face, (she's known me for close to 20 years) and says, "Tara, I'll deal with Dean asking that question instead of sitting through a spousal in the restaurant." *deep breaths, this is my life* lol.

It still wasn't as bad as sitting in BW3 when he looked up at the TV, saw girl wrestlers and said, "Girl wrestlers! They're making me horny." There were fucking little kids sitting at tables nearby! I wanted to crawl under a rock.

There's something very cool about being with someone that just doesn't give a fuck...But sometimes, it's uncomfortable.

PS - wish me luck in golf tonight. I have 2 weeks left and I'm fighting for 1st place with some bitch.
