Requisite Monday Sigh....

I think I scolded someone last night in a CoD match for bringing up Monday. That's my new rule. No face-booking about Monday on Sunday. No whining about it. No talking about it. If we don't acknowledge it, maybe it will just go away?

Instead, the first thing I did this morning was plan my next vacation. August 6th through August 14th. OMG. I can't wait. Chicago, I'll see ya. Then a week to "rest" afterwords. It's hard to burn that much PTO. I just like to hold onto it and know it's there. lol. But it's use-it-or-lose-it here AND they just added a limited PTO in 4th quarter policy - so August it is.

Onto the games stuff....

CoD

Good games this weekend clanholes. I finally rolled over last night just after 11pm. Woo hoo Thompson. Brrrr. bang bang! Shot my bazooka in the middle of the sub map because I forgot I lost betties. lol.

XBLA this week

So Battlefield 19something. People are talking about it. Never played it on PC. Sounds interesting. Maybe? Will play demo and buy if the friends list does. You?

Ghostbusters

Overall - it's an okay-ish/good game. The ghost wrangling mechanism kinda sucks if you're not doing slam dunks or tethers. It just takes too long. And wtf! - Most of the game is pretty easy and you just sort of, truck along. But there are 2-3 parts that are just stupidly hard that throw off the whole flow of the game. Like the possessed party and now the gargoyles in the cemetary that you have to tether to the archway. Drives me mental. I almost gave up playing through, but it's a super short game and the achievements are pretty easy.

Word to those that haven't played it yet - play it on EASY. The achievements are the same as normal difficulty.

Worms 2

Still sucks. On one game my first worm spawned under a map piece. I would have had to use a torch and waste my turn to get out. Instead, I thought I was try the emergency teleport which randomly teleports all your worms. Yep, got teleported to a mine which bounced me to another mine and yet one more! My worm died. Fuck this game. (Oh, and the achievements suck ass!)
