It's Wednesday and my Friday is open. No meetings. Nothing. Zip.

I think I'm supposed to take the day off. Dean has been taking several Fridays off lately and I have been booked back-to-back and couldn't swing it. I haven't taken a day off yet this year. Nothing to brag about - but damn, I usually like to take a day here and there. I'm not the "take a two week vacation" kind of girl. Just a few Fridays dispersed throughout the year to recharge and essentially fuck off (and then the LAN of course for a Thursday, Friday, and recovery Monday).

I'm calling it. I'm taking it off.

I've had my nose so deep in my Kindle's ass lately and I love it. Haven't been watching TV during the week and have ignored my Xbox since the weekend. I think I need to correct that tonight with some W@W. Apparently I missed double XP weekend? WTF? Why didn't I know about this? Who do I need to follow on Twitter to get this information (you know, when Twitter isn't down from all the activity).

Back to books - I just finished Scott Sigler's "Infected." Weird. Gross. Violent. Enjoyable. Little parasites grow out of people and talk to them.

Feed us feed us feed us! Now now now!  Kill him kill him kill him!

Very weird...I'd recommend it if you like a good Sci-Fi. Now I'm back onto the 3rd (maybe 4th?) book from the "In Death" series by JD Robb. A mystery/drama chick book with a steamy romance. And then it will be Contagious - the Scott Sigler sequel to Infected.

Yeah, I gotta take Friday off.

Cool, I just suscribed to Sigler's book on itunes as a free book. There are a couple other books of his that are available also for free.

Friday is a good day to take off. Shakes is taking it off too. I think we are going to the coast. I need to start reading more adult books. Right now everything Im reading comes out of the young adult section.

I'm a huge scott sigler fan, I listen to all his stuff. He podcasts (like a podio novel) all his books, and that is my recommended way to enjoy them, as he is pretty decent at giving everybody distinct voices! He's currently doing Contagious, I think episode #16 is the most recent, and it could possibly go as high as 30 to 40 I'd imagine. If you wanna listen to any of his past/current stuff, check out scottsigler.net, and yes join the ranks as one of his Dirty Junkies, lol.

You need Xbox alerts on your kindle for double Xp weekend. Then you need to get kindle alerts on your xbox, for when a new book comes out. You need to tweet on both of them, and then you need your DVR to tweet to your kindle when there is a good show on. Your Iphone should notify you when there is a new tweet and it should autotweet a response and cc your kindle. And finally, Amazon should tweet your DVR when they finally have TV shows available for rental on kindle.

According to the Call of Duty Franchise forum right here on this very site, dbl xp for WaW is still on thru the 25th. And according to Tank’s gaming news, also reported on this very site a la his blog, it’s supposed to last thru the end of the week. @ATC – Throw in JD_2020. He’s the community manager for Treyarch’s CoD. Sounds like Friday is a done deal. The real question should be whether to blow off Thursday as well . . . .

lol ATC... the only thing you will learn from my Tweets is where I'm eating lunch... IF THAT! TD how is the book selection on Kindle? Their v 2.0 is out I guess and I've been thinking of getting it. IF only to get me to read a bit more.
